As some of you know I recently moved to New Jersey. It is very different from the South. I have lived in the South for the past 8 years of my life. I forgot how the north do things....
1. If I start singing Rocky Top up here they look at differently. In GA they would at least know what I am talking about.
2. There are no mountains but I do have the boardwalk and ocean here in the summer. I can't wait for warmer weather to get here.
3. In the north they have proper english. It always got under my skin when they called woman Ms, and they were suppose to be Mrs. I got caught up in that too but now I don't say it.
4. I thought that Atlanta was fast paced but up here its so much faster. I get ran over on the roads going 10 over the speed limit. The pace of traffic is not just fast but the people are always running around. It seems like northers just don't have time for other people like Southerns do.
I know that its the Lord's will for me to be here because I have peace about being here. The differences are things that one can look over. I will because I want to be in the Lord's will because its the only way.
I do struggle some days to figure out why I am here but that is my timing not the Lord's timing.
